Woods

I choose my woods for durability and beauty. My basic woods are Hickory (standard) and Ash (by request). My exotic hardwoods of choice are Purpleheart (standard) or Bocote or Wenge (by request for an additional charge).
The navigation buttons are on a background of each of those woods, so you can get a sense of what they look like, going from left to right: Hickory ("Home"), Ash ("Bastons"), Purpleheart ("Daggers"), Bocote ("Options") and Wenge ("Links").

Measurements for custom orders

When ordering, please provide measurement from the heel palm to tip of the extended index finger (A), the width of the palm (B), the measurement from the tip of the extended thumb to the bottom of the closed fist (C), and the desired overall length.

Custom Replicas

I also replicate weapons, in exotic hardwoods, from existing collections. I do require a full-sized photocopy labeled with accurate measurements and a full color photo to provide a quote. Replications are custom pieces and require a 50% deposit with the balance due at time of shipping, and 2-3 weeks for completion.

Delivery Times and Shipping

If an item is completed and in stock I will ship the following business day, with cleared payment, or the first business day following clearance of payment.

If a non-custom item is back logged, please allow 6-10 days for it to be completed and shipped. This allows for the proper penetration and curing of the finish.

All bastons and knives are shipped with a cloth bag and instructions for care of the chosen finish. Custom orders require a 50% deposit by money order, cashier's check or Pay Pal deposit before work will begin, with the balance due before shipment. Personal checks will be accepted with a 10 day hold to clear before work will begin.

While I prefer UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, choice of shipping provider will be the customer's. I have access to FedEx and DHL as well. Insurance, up to $100 will be provided when shipping through UPS and The US Postal Service. Anything over $100, or when using FedEx or DHL will be the option of the purchaser to insure or not as they see fit.

As a general rule, shipping costs through the Post Office and UPS Ground run approximately $12.00 in the Continental United States. I am more than happy to combine shipping, so feel free to order more than one item.
